Chairman Executive Committee
Jos B. Peeters
Before founding Capricorn Partners, Jos worked for Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company, PA Technology and BeneVent Management. He was the first Chairman of the Belgian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, and served as Chairman of EVCA (now Invest Europe). In the latter role, he chaired the capital markets work group, which led to the creation of Easdaq. A veteran of the European venture capital and private equity industry, Jos was involved in over three decades of early stage investing in a broad range of technology-based companies, supporting M&A transactions as well as IPOs on Nasdaq, Easdaq and Euronext.Jos holds a PhD in solid state physics from the University of Leuven.
Interests:
Jos loves cooking and catching up with friends and acquaintances over a good glass of wine. Passionate about nature and wildlife photography, he enjoys traveling to lesser-known destinations.
Investment Director
Marc Lambrechts
Prior to joining Capricorn Partners, Marc was a senior scientific advisor at IWT (now VLAIO) and section head of Terumo Europe’s R&D division. His core investment interests lie in technology-fusion based opportunities – crucial for digital health and industry 4.0 related businesses as covered by the Capricorn Digital funds.
Marc has a PhD in microelectronics from the University of Leuven, with a specialisation in biosensors.
Interests:
When not focusing on digital opportunities for Capricorn, Marc likes to explore old analogue technology. He loves photography and is currently working on a digital archive of the pictures taken by his father and grandfather on glass plates and film.
